Give them some time.. the older the cat was that
lives with you the more time it may take for the cat to
adjust to a new family member. I have to agree with
Clay, never declaw a cat. It hurts, and it kills there
defenses, and even if there an indoor cat, you take away
it's native thing to do, and that's scratch, and claw
thinks. I personally think it's inhumane. Id rather loose
a few couches then loose my kitties claws. You can
train your cat to not claw things, like we have, but
once you declaw your cat, you can't ever go back..
