To All,
I just received word from a local anti-BSL group I belong to that it looks like the Senator who wants to ban Pit Bull Terriers from the state of Oregon, where I live, hasn't dropped it at all. Please send prayers, energy, light, good thoughts or whatever you send to those who need your help to us here. We can't allow BSL to come here to Oregon...not in the state where the city of Portland was recently voted to be Dog Town USA.
If you can write a letter or e-mail please do so. Pit Bull Terriers and their owners really need support right now.
Regards,
Cheryl

Oregon: Keep an eye on SB 667

Although Senator Starr said he would not pursue SB 667 (a statewide ban on pit bulls), it was nevertheless referred to the Judiciary Committee on March 9.
If Starr truly intends to let SB 667 die, he will let it sit in the committee. But if the bill is scheduled for a hearing, Sen. Starr intends to pursue the passage of the bill.
This is something to keep an eye on.
SB 667 can be tracked here (click “Senate Bill” and type “667″ in the box): http://www.leg.state.or.us/searchmeas.html
