It looks like a step in the right direction but they should strike
the whole bill as staff suggests. It isn't a new law.

This week, the Washington
State Legislature is voting on a bill that "Declares it is the duty of the
sheriff or any deputy sheriff TO KILL any dog found running at large without a
metal identification tag."

If we do not speak up now, this could become a real disaster.
