i have a really "DIFFERENT" looking female boston pup[IRON MAIDEN]. her head is
the "regular" black/white color but her body is like light to medium grey, blue
or silver.her litter brother came out black and white like their mom. for at
least the past 6 generations mom has only black/white or brindle/white dogs in
her pedigree. dad is red/white with his parents both being seal/white. i know
the greys/blues/silvers are different levels of diluted black, but what i don't
understand is why her head is black/white and her body is blue, grey or silver
and white.can anyone help me understand this??? the 2 pups were born 4/19/09 so
i do understand that pups will sometimes go through several slight color changes
as they dry after being born and as they grow, but this is really different for
me[ and beleive me, i've seen some really different bostons and other dog breeds
as well].if you go to photos then find "dragunstalker",you'll be able to check
out my PUPS albums, you'll see some rather crappy pics [i need a better camera]
of Iron Maiden and her regular colored brother Coal Miner. mom is Sassy and dad
is Butters. i'll add more pics to her album every few days and try to give you
clearer and cleaner views of her coat.thanks for any light y'all can shed on
