BRG is a group that is dedicated to promoting that parrots and especially budgies are cognizant and intelligent beings that are capable of complex communication. We invite parrot guardians of any kind who want to be part of some ground breaking animal intelligence research. We even have a cockatiel and princess parrot talking in the group.

Our group goal is to learn how to understand our budgies when they talk and treat them with respect and love. There are now over 20 talking parakeets in the group that are speaking in sophisticated conversational language.

Group Rules
1. We are an advanced group in parrot intelligence research and do not train people in basic budgie care or give advice for parrot sicknesses. You should take your parrot to the vet immediately if you suspect it may be sick in any way. If you are a new budgie owner we have a separate group that concentrates on parrot care which you should also join. In it you can feel free to ask your questions about training and caring for your parrot.

2. We avoid talking about parrot death, disease or sickness in this group.

3. Please feel free to post as often as you wish, however, excessive postings can cause too many emails. Please try not to post more then once a day or so.

4. I am no longer accepting recordings from anyone unless they contact me first and introduce themselves.

5. Links should be posted in the links section of the group and not in the message. This is not place for advertising your site or selling something.

6. You must 18 years of age to be a member of this group.
