California Red Sheep Marketing Group was formed by CA Red breeders in order to promote the breed and promote sale of animals, fiber and finished products. In addition it provides a way for CA Red Sheep breeders to communicate, to share experiences, to do cooperative marketing and to preserve bloodlines by encouraging registration of qualified animals and communication among breeders to prevent loss of bloodlines to sale barns in emergency situations. Anyone interested in preserving this wonderful breed of sheep is welcome to join.
