RE: [cats-uk] All Meat Cat Food

Hi Carol & all at cats-uk

I din't think this was still running! LOL
To my knowledge there is no 100% tinned cat food in the UK, What we do is buy chicken livers and lambs hearts (fresh or frozen) we also use almost out of date meats to cut up and freeze and do a mix of meat and offal. Chickens with full gibblets are good for this as you get the poultry hearts and kidneys too.
If you have a good farmers market near you, you may be able to buy chicken gibblets in bulk cheaply (at this time of year you can get duck gibblets as well, but use spearingly as they are quite rich)
So if you don't mind handling raw meats and offal, I think its the way to go.
Hi-Life is as close as you can get otherwise in the UK, unless someone else knows differently :)

Well hello everyone,

Thought I'd be the first to break the silence....Wow, no posts since March
last year : - )

Hmmmm.....Anyway, I trust everyone is well, and hope you all haven't
been abducted by aliens....Otherwise, I won't get an answer.

I'm looking for an all-meat tinned cat food.  meat and organs, and NO
grains/rubbish in there.  I know this sort of thing is sold in the States, but
I've had no luck sourcing anything like that here.  The nearest I've got is 'Hi-
Life 60% meat'....Not good enough.

So, if anyone knows of any brand out there, please let me know.

Carol
