Hi Tanis,

Thanks so much for your reply.

*** No, I think you're right. I've searched the net and can't seem to
find anything at all.

*** Yes, that's pretty much what I do too. The only thing that I can't
get fresh are chicken livers. I feed a lot of raw meat to the ferrets, and
like to buy the meat fresh, so that I can cut it up into portions and then
freeze. Whole frozen chickens are great for the offal content, but I
have trouble finding one small enough to be used within two days of
defrosting in the fridge.
My cats are on the ordinary canned at the moment, but I do cook mince
and offal to supplement and reduce the amount of commercial food.
I'm trying to switch one of them to raw, because we've battled allergies
with her for almost 9 years and this is a last hope of resolving it really.
I was hoping that if I could find an all-meat (no grain) cat food to help
while transitioning her to raw, it would be better than keeping her on
the well known canned foods that have a whole host of additives in
them.

*** Now that would be good. We do have a farmers market in the
centre of Manchester, but it's quite small. I'll keep a look out for any
poultry suppliers though. Thanks.

*** Nope not at all. With two cats and six ferrets I'm up to my arm pits
in it most days. Got a rabbit in the fridge at the moment ; - )

Thanks again for you reply. it's much appreciated

Carol
