    FUTURE PLANS, VISIONS & DREAMS

Everybody who knows us is aware that we can't just quit, turn our backs and ignore animals in need. That was never our intention. We just have to scale back and try to get a serious grip on the enormous debts that 5+ years of rescue have left us with.

    We will continue to accept

We will keep helping as much as we can, and if we can't actually take in each and every animal in need, we will try our best to help in any way possible !!!

    HEALTH & DIET

    • Interesting information about the MATURITY of a horse, and how long to wait before starting a young horse: MATURITY

    TRANSPORTATION

A local hauler offers transportation for $0.60 per loaded mile for the 1st horse, and $0.50 for each additional.   Sometimes they (or other haulers) offer even lower fill-rates....

If you would like to get some quotes directly, please use one or all of these websites:

When requesting quotes, please don't be shocked or discouraged by some high bids coming in - it can take about 10-20 quotes to find a decent one, so PATIENCE is the key. Also, usually the lowest quotes are last-minute fill rates from haulers that are traveling a certain route and have an opening due to a cancellation or an incompletely booked trip. However, these great offers literally happen at the LAST MINUTE, so to be able to take advantage of these bargains, the adoption would have to be finalized and the horse would have to be ready to go (with Coggins and health certificate done). In the past we were able to find transportation for about $0.50 per loaded mile, sometimes even as low as $0.30 per mile. There are always "good deals" from reliable haulers out there, it just takes patience to find them, so please don't give up too quickly.

If you are interested in adopting one of our horses and need help with finding or arranging transportation, or with feedback for certain haulers, please let me know.....

A sincere and heart-felt THANK  YOU with a BIG, BIG HUG to all.......
