The Australian Companion Rabbit discussion group, and the Australian Companion Rabbit Society have been established by a group of Australian Rabbit caretakers who are concerned about the lack of information available in Australia.

The aim of the Australian Companion Rabbit Group is to offer a supportive forum for the discussion of house/companion rabbit related topics.

The aim of the Australian Companion Rabbit Society is to spread awareness of the health and dietary requirements of the house rabbit, and to support rescue and foster efforts of our long eared friends.

Breeders and people who "show" rabbits are welcome on the list, but please keep your posts specific to pet rabbits.

This is a moderated forum, posts about deliberate breeding, use of rabbits as anything but treasured companions, and posts that are insensitive to our respect for all animals will not be allowed.
