the crab with no legs now has legs again!   Message List
Reply Message #341 of 1714 |
Hi everyone, thanks again for the help when my rainbow crab, Higgins,
moulted and lost all of his legs. That happened a couple months ago
and I have had to make special arrangments for him in the tank such
as an incline made out of gravel to climb in and out of the water
dish, covered part of the dish for him to hide and took out some of
the big rocks and logs since he couldn't really climb on anything
anymore. He did well dispite the handicap, really just eating and
sitting in the water. Last week I visited him at my parents house
(where he resides now) and he still had no legs...when I visited him
this week he had legs! It was so funny to see him run across the tank
with these brand new legs, surprising me! He had moulted again and
now has all his legs back. I am excited to see him become active
again! Thanks again for everyone's advice!
