I actually have never visited the park.  Was going to then I found one closer to
my house in Lino Lakes that Lexi (my lab) loves.  Not sure about the CR one but
the one here has one completely fenced in and another that is somewhat fenced
in.  That side is a blast in the winter, the lake & marshes freeze over
increasing the size of the place, allowing you to explore some of the islands
with your pup.

and Foley Blvd (near Foley and Northdale) in Coon Rapids.

Hunter is a lab/springer mix that looks like a lab puppy. Has brown
eyes, is neutered.

Our family just went through the loss of our mother and can't handle
another loss. The kids are heartbroken. If you see Hunter or have

i got a new foster dog today named clyde. he is a sweet boy lab mix.
about 3-4 years old. he has been separated from his brother calvin a
black lab who is 6 and in another home. if anyone knows someone who
would take kindly to both of them as their dogs, they are wonderful,
except they hate cats. i would hate to see two dogs so close split up
for life, thats just sad
be on the look out for clyde at the park. i plan to bring him alot there

I know its been quite humid most days but its getting nice now! Hope
you and your canine friends have had a nice summer... anyone have any
really cool summer dog park stories? Make any special dog park friends?
I am looking forward to fall and the new park and my boys are gonna
love the park in the snow.

I am also in a business of sorts. I do mostly dog walking but do offer
pet sitting (my home or yours) and a day care type thing for up to 8
hours in the day. Also if anyone prefers to bring their dog to day
care.. do not choose petshotel please! I worked there and behind the
scenes its awful. I know camp bow wow locations offer 1 day free for
day care and if you can make the drive top dog country club is
amazing! Also if anyone is interested in getting their dog to be
therapy dogs like mine are, please contact me. I can give you some
info and if you wish, help you train in certain areas.

I am looking for a better place to add photos to. One where all of us
can make comments on them so I can learn names of some of the dogs in
my photos etc and yahoo groups does not have that feature. I myself am
a very active member of flickr and have over 2,000 photos on there and
its easy to add to and comment but you do have to join to comment. Its
free and requires a yahoo member name. This is a idea if anyone is
interested otherwise, let me know what else ya got. Otherwise we can
just keep them here I guess but its kinda lame to me because I love
getting feedback.

Also I am really getting into pet photography and have had classes and
if anyone is interested, I will take photos for you are VERY cheap
prices. I am just trying to gain experience. I have samples of my BEST
work if anyone is interested.

Hey Everyone,

May I make a suggetions, please contact the City to find out if they
would allow the kiddie pools or if they would remove/throw them out.

Awhile back City workers told several people that the City instructed
them to throw away any water dishes  they found because the City is
concerned with diseases that can be passed around.

I do not know if the rumors are true, however we have been warned to
be very careful and not to leave anything standing out because of the
Neighbor who strongly dislikes the park.

We have not been to the park in awhile, has the City installed a
water tap that would allow everyone to get fresh water?

It is a shame that there is not more shade available inside the park.

Hi all.  I'm new here and have not been to the park.  My wife & I
welcomed a wonderful 22wk old black lab (Lexi - who is full of P&V)
three weeks ago and have been looking for pooch friendly parks.

Just wanted some info on where the park is, how safe it is for our
little Lexi to run around in.  We live in Hugo so CR isn't that long of
a haul.

although the grass is super tall by the trees and in other spots its
getting there and the icky smelly water still lurks by the drains

near the drain, there is some water that smells really sewage like so
beware if your dog is over there, it will be a stinky ride home!
also there is posion ivy in the area you can not really see. on the
other side of the playarea

I came into the park and put our water on the picnic table which was
in the sun/grass area that day, then I stood underneath the canopy of
the trees trying to get some relief from the heat.  During our visit
that day, I scolded the "the boys" a few feet from the ditches on
either side, and then hooked them up to their leashes by the back
field that over looks the playground.

Our search Friday was cut short due to the weather.

We hope to do another search by Monday evening.
