2007 has been an exciting year for Equine-Reproduction.com, LLC! We
relocated from Northern California to Wynnewood, Oklahoma (65 miles
south of Oklahoma City off I-35) and as part of that move, opened a
stallion station and mare reproductive management facility. We offer
stallion management services including collection and shipping of
semen, phantom and ground collection training and semen freezing. We
specialize in problem stallions! We also manage mares for breeding
with fresh, cooled and/or frozen semen, as well as performing embryo
transfer. For more information on these services, please don't
hesitate to contact us. We are excited about the opportunities this
move will have and are looking forward to serving breeders needs at
our new location.
We have been working on several new articles which have been posted on
our website, including a new semen extender calculator. Stallion
owners that are shipping semen will be happy to know that we've taken
the guess work out of how much extender to add to their shipments. You
can go to
http://www.equine-reproduction.com/SemenCalculator.php to
use the calculator. It also will allow you to enter information and
print out the form to include with your shipment!
Because of our relocation and the opening of our new facility, we plan
to reduce the amount of traveling and number of short courses we will
be doing in the future . The 2008 tour will probably be our last
extensive tour. As many of the courses fill, we recommend enrolling
early to ensure a place at one of the courses.
We are pleased to announce our new Spring 2008 tour. We are still
working on locations for some of the courses and will be updating the
website as those details are finalized.

Short Course Details
Jos Mottershead, of Equine-Reproduction.com, LLC will be the main
lecturer and lectures on equine reproduction. Well respected in the
horse industry, Jos offers assistance to breeders and veterinarians
through the informative website,
http://www.equine-reproduction.com,
as well as through the email discussion list,
EquineRepro@yahoogroups.com. With an incredible working knowledge of
equine reproduction, he is a wealth of information that both the first
time breeder and the equine professional will appreciate. Jos stays
educated on the most current technology, trends and products, making
the lectures a great opportunity for anyone wishing to stay up to date
on available breeding information.
Each course will be intensive and cover a wide variety of topics that
the equine breeder will find useful and which will guide them towards
having an easier, probably cheaper, and more successful breeding
season. The courses instruct breeders in traditional methods and
practices, newer ideas and technologies, and present some interesting
alternatives to the more conventional methods of horse breeding
available to the industry. As an example, there are photos on the
web site at
http://www.equine-reproduction.com/courses/completed.shtml
of course participants being shown how to ground collect from a
stallion for artificial insemination. The two-day course has a two
hour wet lab. The three-day course has a full day devoted to wet lab.
Each participant receives a set of course notes of over 200 pages
that are themselves a valuable reference. You will find yourself
referring to them time and again when you have a question about
breeding and/or equine reproduction!
We realize how difficult it can be to stay current with the latest
information and are pleased to be able to offer you this opportunity.
Please visit the website at
http://www.equine-reproduction.com/courses/ for more short course
information.
In addition to the short courses, while on tour we also offer a mobile
reproduction service. We can come to your facility and collect and
freeze your stallion(s) semen, train stallions to ground collect or
use a breeding phantom, troubleshoot existing problems, and/or assist
you in setting up a breeding facility. If you are interested in these
services, please email us for more information!
Please check out the website for information on equine reproduction at
http://www.equine-reproduction.com - there are numerous articles on a
variety of topics. If you have a reproduction question, use the form
on the site to join the worlds largest equine reproduction e-mail
discussion list
EquineRepro@yahoogroups.com. You can then post your
question where you will have access to a large number of breeders and
veterinarians as well as Jos, enabling you to receive concise and
informative answers, and participate in the discussions yourself!
We look forward to seeing you at one of the short courses! And, if we
don't see you at one of our courses, we hope that you find our website
informative, educational and helpful in your breeding endeavors.
Kindest regards,
