This weekend the Collie Club of Maine held the only AKC trial in the State of
Maine. Friday was torrential downpours, Saturday HOT and humid, Sunday more
rain and humid. What a great weather weekend.

But, even though I have to kick her out the door during a mild shower, in the
rain, Carina (with all her titles in my signature line) came through! While our
runs were not all clean, she qualified in all 3 Novice Standard Preferred
classes and all 3 Novice Jumper With Weaves classes. All with placement,
several with first.

and, in spite of only 2 practice sessions with me, I ran Linda McSherry's Violet
and qualified twice in Novice Jumpers With Weaves to finish her title. And she
ran GREAT in several standard runs - but her handler didn't always send her in
the right direction!

and, finally, all I can say is that brother Corey is a work in progress and at
least stayed with me in the ring and attempted to do MOST of the courses!

I know Elaine Hamill had several great runs with Linus and Alvin, but didn't get
much chance to watch. Running 3 dogs at the same trial sure kept me busy!
