This group has been established to provide support to others who are facing this Devastating, Caustic, Menacing Disease ... Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM), which is a hereditary, progressive, and life-threatening heart disease that is spreading far and wide and killing our beloved dogs, the Great Danes, Duitse Doggen, Deutsche Doggen.

You do not have to have a DCM Great Dane to join; however, joining requires participation.

This board is not to be used as a means to attack or defame anyone. This board is not to be used as a source for material with which to flame people or their breeding programs. That's not what this group is about.

We are here to support those dealing with DCM. We are here to support the researchers striving to locate the genetic markers and mode of inheritance. We are here to discuss strategies for reducing the impact DCM has on our beloved breed.

I have become a Warrior to Fight Against Canine Dilated Cardiomyopathy. I invite you to join me in the search for the answer to this problem.
