This list is for sharing information about diabetes in pets and related health matters. Feel free to share pictures of your pets with the group because we have found that it is more personal to put a face to a pet's name. We’ve been on the web since May of 1997 and are one of the first three pet diabetes websites so we bring to you members with years of experience in dealing with diabetes mellitus in your pet! The members of this list share what works for their pets based on their own experiences and we encourage each other in deciding what mix is right for their diabetic pet. No diet is set in stone and some pet's require more insulin then others. We're here to share NEVER to accuse any pet parent of "doing it wrong". There is no right and wrong, what works best for one pet may not be the perfect solution for another pet. We have members using vetsulin, caninsulin, NPH, PZI and other insulins. Some members homecook, some feed canned, dry and/or prescription diets or a combination. Share with other owners what works for your diabetic dog or cat.

Margo, Jane, Lee, Judy, Bonnie, Karen, Michael, Cathy are the moderators of the group. Margo, Judy, Karen and Michael also have diabetes. Lee is a vet tech so she has knowledge about other health issues that your diabetic pet might have.
