No Messy bird doesn't. His/her head, neck, and breast is all the same color. I did find one picture on your website where a rosy didn't have the purplish head...

The female Rosy has the purplish coloration, just as not as intense as in a male. There are Blonds (Fawn) that do have the reddish hue across the back & neck....
