Upcoming calendar upgrade: Yahoo! Groups calendars are being upgraded to a much improved version. You may not have access to the calendar (for up to 24 hours) when this group is upgraded. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
Description
A group for vets, vet students, techs, and horse owners to discuss equine medicine, and horses in general. Our searchable message archive will be loaded with informative articles on equine health issues. Just search for the disease you're interested in! Other veterinary professionals and horse owners are welcome to contribute to the database, just say where your info is coming from--personal experience, a journal, vet school, etc., and briefly mention your background.
Be sure and check out our bookmarks (links), we have 144 and growing! A new feature here is the "Link of the Week", this week's L.O.W. is Underslung heels: http://www.equineoz.com.au/art20.htm
For those who need help with medical terminology, do an archive search on "dictionary".
Treatments posted by others on this site are not necessarily endorsed by the group owner. All non vets posting advice should identify themselves as such. Advice that the group owner feels is harmful will be deleted.
Feel free to visit our sister group, which is devoted to all species of animals
