Exotic Bird Rescue is a Pacific Northwest 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that specializes in the rescue, rehabilitation and re-placement of exotic birds. Birds are released to us for a variety of reasons. As a rescue we aim to provide veterinary care for each bird, a proper diet, appropriate caging and supplies and work on any behavioral issues that may prevent the bird from having a long-term home. Instead of housing the birds in a facility, they thrive off the individual attention they receive in foster homes throughout the area. A major goal of our organization is to educate potential and current bird owners on what constitutes appropriate care for a companion bird. Our organization includes an adoption program, a foster home program, lost and found services, behavioral intervention, senior/disabled companion program and education to the general public on proper bird care and other bird-related issues.
