OK folks, a plan is forming. Feedback from the devastated region
indicates that sending checks or even money orders is fairly useless,
because no one will cash them, IF a location can even be found to try
to cash them.

So here's the plan: Instead of sending checks to the Farriers Relief
Fund, go to your local Wal-Mart, Lowes or Home Depot store, and
purchase Gift Cards. These cards are the same as cash in those
stores, and will allow recipients to walk in and get supplies.

So I urge all of you: Please, get out there, purchase Gift Cards, and
mail them to:

I also urge you to copy this post, and e-mail it to everyone you know
