I just did a quick search and it is a beta blocker but it is not for blood
pressure, it is for regulating the heart rhythm. Tootsie has been on enalapril
for almost 2 years for proteinuria, we just learned two weeks ago that she has
high blood pressure and she now takes amlodipine for blood pressure, the sotalol
was just added the other day to regulate the rhythm.
Mellie takes atenolol to slow her heart rate down as her heart beats way too
fast otherwise. Geez, the fun of old age! My husband and I and our cats are
all growing old together!!
