Hi Pat,
One of my FeLV+ cats, Kami has endocarditis. He is now approx 2 1/2 - 3 yrs old.
He came in extremely poor condition 1 1/2 yrs ago with many things going on and
a really bad heart murmur. He was so ill that only injectable combo anitibiotics
worked. After he had significantly improved, I had a full body ultrasound done
on him at the critical care hospital here. The U/S revealed a great deal of
permanent damage and scarring to internal organs due to his previous existence.
It also revealed that his heart valves are significantly scarred but the
endocarditis is no longer an issue. The heart murmur is now inaudible.
I use a lot of supplements and he is doing extremely well. Kami doesn't have any
other heart issues.
I hope that Bastet recovers from it as well as Kami did.
I'm sorry that I can't be of more help.
