Hi,

My female ferret Poppy is 12 months old and in excellent health, Shes not been
neutered yet but shes active and bright eyed, no ear mites, no cold, shes eating
and drinking fine and her bowel movements are fine so is the urine but shes
losing her fur. It started on the back of her neck and under her chin but now
its spreading along her back. Its fallen out in patches and the skin is
completely bald. At first i thought it just because she was moulting but this
hasn't happened to my other 2 ferrets. All 3 live in the house, their bedding is
changed daily and their bed is kept clean so im totally bemused by whats
happening. I have kept ferrets before but never seen anything like this. She
seems happy and healthy and still very playful so i cant understand why this is
happening. I would really appreciate any help or suggestions on what it could
be. My vet cant see her till Monday and because shes eating and drinking shes
not a priority.

Thanks,
Kay
