Since 1999 our goal has been to help Scottish Fold cats in need of new homes because their owners can no longer keep them or are in danger of being destroyed in kill shelters. You may be able to help us find homes for these cats and kittens either by adopting the cat yourself, by helping us transport a cat to it's new home, or by providing a short term foster home. LIST RULES:
1. Please keep your messages ON SUBJECT. This is a Scottish Fold BREED rescue list. No domestics (there are many other lists for them) and no dogs!
2. No discussions of general animal health, animal welfare, and animal rights issues. There are many other lists for these needs.
3. No "Breeder bashing" (blaming breeders for filling shelters, etc). Many of our rescuers are breeders.
4. No "flames"!
5. No spam, INCLUDING REQUESTS FOR DONATIONS!
6. No use of the list to "downsize a cattery" without pre-approval! Personal cats may not be offered for adoption without pre-approval. No inquiries about breeding or finding homes for unsold kittens or cats.
7. Breeders with personal problems may obtain assistance from our members, with list administrator pre-approval.
8. Posts about bad adopters MAY NOT CONTAIN THE NAME OF THE ADOPTER!!! This is a liability problem.
9. No discussion of problems or differences of opinion or policy, between two or more rescues - again, due to liability issues.
10. Violations of list policy may result in: a warning, a request for a public apology to the list, moderation of posts for a period of time, or removal from the list.
