Thundering Paws Animal Sanctuary is a no-kill sanctuary near Austin, Texas which rescues cats, dogs and bunnies. We currently are caring for approximately 100 cats, 6 bunnies and 2 dogs on site. We also provide for numerous animals residing in volunteer foster homes. We provide premium food, filtered water, and a protected outside run with perches at various levels so the cats can go outside if they wish. The dogs have a big enclosed yard; and the bunnies have a roomy indoor hutch for bad weather, and a big outdoor hutch so that they can enjoy the nice weather. All the animals are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and receive any veterinary care they need. While many of the cats we rescue are adoptable, we also have a number of feral cats, who will have a home with us for life. This group welcomes anyone interested in volunteering, sharing their experience in cat, dog and bunny rescue, or interested in networking in animal rescue.
