Welcome to Giant Schnauzers in Ontario. This group is dedicated to bringing Giant owners together. We invite those who live in ON with a GS, who show their GS in ON or those who have a dog bred in ON. Don't have a Giant but want to learn more? Come on in!

Our members are involved in a number of activities with their dogs ranging from dog powered sports (carting, sledding, scootering, bikejoring), agility, schutzhund, conformation and obedience to name a few. Grooming, nutrition and training are just some of the topics covered. We also love to share photos, stories and brags.

There are very few rules here other than be courteous, polite, join in and have fun!

Litter advertisements are allowed with a few stipulations. You MUST supply the full registered names and titles of the dam sire, where you are located, what you've accomplished with your dogs and what health tests have been done. We encourage smart breeding and will remove any litter posts or photographs of those who do not follow the above.

Rescue dog notices are always welcome.

"Schnauzer Slams!" are informal gatherings around Ontario to connect with others and let our dogs play. If you have not yet joined a Slam you are missing all the fun, what are you waiting for? Once a year in June we have our "Grand Slam!", seeing dozens of Giants in one place at one time is something you can't miss.
