The GermanShepherd-Euro email list was founded to provide a meeting place where people interested in the breeding of European line German Shepherds (West German, DDR, Belgian, Swiss and Dutch), from around the globe could co-operatively communicate their experiences, share their knowledge, and exchange important information regarding bloodlines and pedigrees. This newly gained knowledge would then serve as a basis for making informed judgments and sound breeding decisions. All of this would hopefully result in an improved understanding of the German Shepherd dog and benefit the breed in future generations.

The list is owned by Bruce Brisson (Bloodlines) and Yvonne Hecht (Pedigrees) with assistance from moderators Lisa Clark and Isabel Lambertz.
