Our group has been created to spread the word of our national network of Avian and Exotic Rescues. Healthipet Network was formed to ease the process of both local and interstate adoptions for avian and exotic animals. Our goal is to help find suitable homes for all birds nationwide. We utilize local home checkers to perform home visits, interviews and inspections. All information obtained will then be shared with the rescue that has the parrot wanted for adoption. From there, the adoption can move forward or be declined. If approved, volunteers may even be able to assist in transporting the bird or animal to its new forever loving home. We also work with local rescues to provide education on basic bird care for new owners.
We welcome all bird enthusiasts to this group! We also hope that many will decide to join our national network to help as well. Together we can move mountains! HPN is also able to provide educational services to public groups in the hopes of eventually eliminating the need for so many rescues. If prospective owners are better educated regarding what various birds require, as well as their breed profiles, people may be able to select a better fit for their family; thus eliminating a potential rescue situation later. We want to see all birds in a forever loving home. Please join us in our efforts to make parrots and exotic animals lives safer, happier and healthier.

Meet Attie! Our new Frontpage model. She is a gorgeous Shamrock Macaw, which is a hybrid between a military and a scarlet. Due to a nervous disorder she will now be a part of our educational program.
