Dear Stephanie,

Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone.  I had to put sweet Lily to sleep last Thursday.  I thought she had a simple urinary tract infection but an x-ray showed a large mass in her abdomen, probably a reproductive tumor.  She was only 3, which I now understand is the normal lifespan, despite what I'd read previously.  Hogs are so comical and they give you so much affection, it's horribly painful to lose them.  My thoughts are with you.
