Hi Lisa,

Did you happen to see her old shell laying around? I once had a crab who
was very persistent about this one particular shell he shuffled my large
straw right out of it!!! He/she very well could have been trying to surface
molt and became stressed for whatever reason....I think an ISO with some
hunny and cuttlebone might help and some extra shells....he might just hop into
one : ) Best of luck!!! Keep us posted!!
