Description

We're located in Homer, Alaska and while many of our postings relate to animals in our community and at the Homer Animal Shelter, we welcome postings and photos about anyone's pet. Upload your pet's photograph and tell us a story. If you've adopted one of our shelter pets, this is the perfect place to tell us how they're doing.

Sparky--a flame-point Siamese-mix--came into the Homer Animal Shelter many months ago--dirty, battered and skinny. His ears were so infested with ear mites that he had scratched the backs of them raw. With tender care, he has healed up and become a beautiful cat with a wonderful personality. You can see from those lovely blue eyes that he would love to have a forever home.
