On Nov 8, 2008, Hui Pono Holoholona will be at Hawaiian Paradise Park Swap Meet.   Set up is at 6 am, sale is from 6:30 to 11 am.  Our famous HPH T-Shirts are on sale, including the catnip  MANEKI NEKO (LUCKY CAT)  toys.  All make special gifts.

 

On Nov 9, Sunday – We will be out at Wal-Mart.  If you can help donate your time, sure would appreciate it as Vivian is going to need help in setting up and taking things down at the end of the day.

 

Nov 9, HPH –Sunday general meeting is cancelled.  Next meeting is on the second Sunday of the month so hope to be seeing you on Dec 14, 2008 for the last meeting of the year and potluck.

 

Dec 5^th,   HPH   Come join us at the “FUR BALL” Friday, at Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel.  This  benefit is important as it supports  Rainbow Friends “no kill” Animal Sanctuary. 

 

Dec 14, 2008 –  Really important HPH meeting and potluck.  This has been a great year for HPH and a win-win  for Trap-Neuter-Return-*Manage principles/programs here for the Puna side.  We have done a lot for this 2008, and just getting started in our long – term goals.  Our long-term goal is to purchase 20 acres to start our own sanctuary, which will include a spay/neuter clinic on site, a horse therapeutic program to work with the abused and handicapped kids, including girls/boys club and senior citizens to inter-react with the animals, with other programs of interest, and of course to have our own spay mobile. 

 

 

    You can not teach kindness, consideration, respect, pono, and aloha, it must be incorporated as if it is life’s breath, and that will be the daily motto within HPH sanctuary.
