Last week, Subaru let House Rabbit Society know that they are pulling
their "Outside the Box" television commercial (depicting a little girl
and her mom releasing a domestic rabbit into the woods) from the air
in response to the many phone calls, faxes and emails that they have
received regarding the commercial. Many thanks to all of you who

** Spring Journal Goes To Press **

We know we're running a little late, but we're happy to say that
as we write this update, the Spring/Summer issue of House Rabbit
Journal is at the printer! Want to make sure you receive a copy?

** Positive Easter Press Coverage **

We made some very significant progress in getting our Easter message
out to an even wider audience. An abridged version of Amy Espie's
article on rabbits at Easter was featured in the March issue
of Reader's Digest. A letter from an HRS member was featured in Ann
Lander's nationally syndicated column. There were also features in
the Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle, and many other local
papers. We've put together a clippings page for you to browse.
