Stung by Unidentified Flying Insect   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #26 of 239 |
I am hoping you can help me.
I was stung today by something I have never seen before. It was all
black, thick, wide and about 1-1 1/2" long. It is wider than a deer
fly, horse fly and I thought it may have been a Carpenter Bee based
on sketches, but after seeing a color picture of one on the internet
and seeing the top half of it was yellow, I ruled it out. I was on a
property that is about 20 acres of undeveloped land currently under
construction in Fellsmere, in Indian River County Florida.

Thanks!
