Hi Folks...Greetings from Biggar,Saskatchewan(Canada) I found this
critter in my pool and managed to retieve it and release unharmed..I
shot some photos and will post it as "Interesting Flying Insect". As
you will be able to see, it is about 3"long tentacle to stinger. I
thought at first it was large Bee when it hit the water.But when I
netted it I found something quite different than a Bee. I have never
seen one before and nor has any one that I have shown the pics
to...any help would be appreciated...Thanks in advance Lorne S.
