Anyone interested in the Irish Wolfhound AND who subscribes to the intent and purpose of the IWCA Code of Ethical Conduct (http://www.iwclubofamerica.org/ethics_code.htm) is invited to join. WHEN YOU REQUEST MEMBERSHIP PROVIDE YOUR REAL NAME and your activities or interest in the breed. ANONYMOUS REQUESTS WILL BE DENIED.

This list is for questions and sharing experiences that would be of benefit to all IW owners or people looking into the breed on topics such as health, grooming, behavior, training, showing, etc. as well as questions people may have about club activities. For basic questions about the breed, see www.iwclubofamerica.org and/or check the list archives, the answer is probably already there.

This is a moderated list. Final permission for what may be posted is granted by the moderators only.

List guidelines: Posts must be signed with your real name. Cyberspace bullying is not welcome and will not be tolerated.
Non-IW, non-canine material will be kept to a minimum.
No email attachments allowed. Photos may be posted by uploading them to the "Photos" file and sending a message to the list.
Crossposting is permitted provided that permission was received and must include the original's source and author.
DO NOT mass-mail messages to several lists at once.
NO ADVERTISING of any kind including litters, handling services, or anything posted as a means to generate personal income.
NO URLs to personal homepages, no "signature lines" with URLs. Your post will be deleted.
DO NOT post info concerning classified ads w/IWs for sale, in shelters, etc. DO notify Rescue Coordinators Lynne Rosebrock or Diane Hartney, or the list owner.
DO NOT post "puppy wanted" or "can you recommend a breeder?". Find a contact in your area via the IWCA website or contact the club secretary.
