We've done a lot of cool stuff in the past month! Here are some highlights:
  • A new type of bet: Quizzes!
    A lot of people create bets with factual outcomes. Now, instead of creating an outcome based bet for factual questions, you can create a quiz! To create a quiz go here and select "Quiz" (if you don't categorize your bets and quizzes correctly, our admin will have to remove them). After selecting Quiz, write your quiz. Finally, choose the answer of the quiz. When people correctly answer your quiz, they'll immediately get 100 BluBucks (of course, as the quiz creator, you're not allowed to answer your own quiz). If their answer is incorrect, they'll lose 100 BluBucks.

    In addition to the new quiz type, we're changing the maximum ante for outcome bets to 20,000. Since outcome bets are usually more difficult than majority wins bets, it makes sense to have the potential to get a bigger reward for your risk. Hope you enjoy the quizzes!


  • Give gifts to your friends!
    We recently introduced the BluBet Store (a place where you can buy cool stuff for your profile). Now you can give any item you buy to your friends. All you have to do is go to "Customize My World", click the "Give to a friend" link next to any of your items, type in your friend's username or email address, and they'll get a nice gift in their inbox. It only takes a minute and is bound to brighten up someone's day!


  • Widget Sharer: a quick way to share BluBet with friends
    We recently added a widget sharer on BluBet that lets you quickly and easily add your world and any bet to your profile on social networks. All you have to do is click on the tab of the social network you use and follow the instructions that appear in the Widget Sharer. Right now, we support MySpace, Bebo, Facebook, Friendster and Tagged. Have fun sharing bets and your world!
