Description

This is a global self-help group where laypersons, utside the medical profession, with vet-diagnosed EPI dogs, can exchange ideas and share personal experiences. Our intention is to help each other help our dogs. By joining this group you agree and fully understand that we are not here to replace your vet's medical care, but as an additional layman's resource, support & information center. By joining our group you agree that we, the Listowner, the Moderators and other Group Members are in no way responsible for the health of your dog.
Before full membership can be initiated you must have a veterinary diagnosed EPI dog (cTLI test), then complete the long application with a full introduction describing your dog's condition including any prescribed treatments/diet/meds plus diagnostic details. After acceptance, in order to receive important announcements and reminders, please set your EPI membership to a MINIMUM of "Special Notices Only". Also, before asking questions, please read the contents of our website "FILES" & LINKS section for helpful introductory resources and suggetion on diet, supplemental enzyme options & veterinary prescribed B12 & SIBO protocols. The Welcome Letter & Quick Start Guide which you receive automatically, are also located in the FILES in downloadable forms and are the two Primary Documents which should be read very thoroughly! All of our Files, Photos and Emails are copyrighted and may not be or Copied or Forwarded for other than personal use. List information is for the private use of accepted Members only. Please read all the list rules very carefully, they have evolved over the past 9 years and Membership here is contigent upon their acceptence & adherence. Please be assured that although EPI may often be very frustrating and challenging, for both the EPI dog & owner, it is not a death sentence. While some do lose the battle, most EPIers, after stabilisation with diet, enzymes and other supplements, lead otherwise fairly normal lives.
