Hi!
I love your site, but I notice it hasn't been updated in quite a while... I was
wondering what you had avaliable and which little guys you were breeding.
I don't think I can get a mouse now, but soon I would like one, and I would
rather get my pet(s) from a breeder than a pet shop.
I had the best mouse in the world, and I loved him dearly, but he died from
tumors a little over a year ago. If it were up to me I'd get another one now,
but my mom was so heartbroken when he died that she doesn't want another one in
our house. I am planning on moving out soon, though and once settled I would
like a boy or two or three girls to keep me company. I am not interested in
breeding, and am willing to take ones that are "pet only"

Thanks,
Jen

Is the love of my life!

Just thought I'd post a message about my little man from KAW Mousery.
Spring Rodent Fest 08 was the first kind of rodent gathering that
I've ever been to, and was really cool to see all the different
rodents that were there. I decided I wanted to get a boy mouse; I had
3 pet shop girls at the time, and have always heard how great bucks
are so I decided I'd find myself a boy. I came across Christine and
her mice as she was coming in, and she kindly showed me all of the
bucks she had available, and one really caught my eye, a lovely
broken blue rex. It was between him and another buck I saw at another
table, but decided that there was something I couldn't resist about
the little guy I saw at KAW's table. So he came home with me, and upon
receiving his pedigree I discovered he was born on my birthday (March
18th). I decided to name him Berry (Bear-Bear) but ended up calling
him Little Man all the time, and so that is mainly what he is called
now. Once he got used to his new home his little personality came out,
and I cannot imagine life without my little man. He has been the
healthiest, friendliest and over-all best mouse I've ever owned. He
begs constantly for loving and attention, loves cuddles (always grinds
his teeth in happiness) and always seems to make me smile. Everyone
who meets him (I live in a dorm) absolutely loves him, even those not
too fond of mice. He's very smart and has even potty trained himself
and responds to his name. I've had to take him to the vet once, this
was because my girls had a mite outbreak and I took all my rodents in
to be treated and the vet thought he was adorable and so healthy and
friendly! So I personally highly recommend mice from Christine!
Little man brings me love and joy every day and I am so darn glad I
have him. I'm going to be attending this upcoming spring rodent fest
and am looking for a pair of does, and I know I'll be keeping an eye
out for available girls from KAW mousery!

Thanks for my wonderful little man :)!

Here are some pictures of him;

Thanks for joining my group!! My goal is to get this board moving and

To answer your questions,

http://www.afrma.org/miceaocp.htm - this is a link to AFRMA website.
At the bottom of this page you will see a few pictures of splashed
mice. A lightly splashed mouse has the same "look" to them just with
a blue color for the splashing. They are really pretty. And yes, I do
ship. Please read my rules and regulations on my main page at
www.kaworld.net/mousery/mousery.html

I am updating my policies, but my shipping information and all is
posted.

Hershey and Sica
Sasame and Trixie
Homara and Annie
Scotch and Raya - Raya developed an endocrine disorder and dispite my
efforts to save her,passed away.

Treasure and Jewl - all 4 were born dead, I have no idea why.

I am sorry to all who were interrested in the litters that failed. I
will have plenty of other mice to choose from. I will get pictures of
the new litters up on the site by wednesday night. I've been so very
busy with work and tring to find my foster kitty a good home. (he
went to his new home last night! I rescue cats when I can. ) I am
expanding my mousery and trying to build new lines, so not everyone
will be available.

now, I will be attending Rodent Fest in Rising sun, MD. Anyone
attending can reserve mice for the fest. To those of you not
attending and picking up instead, please email me and let me know
about how many mice you will be purchasing, what genders, colors, ect
and if you need cages or not. I can supply cages (custom made by KAW)
for additional $5 per cage if you are getting mice. Please email me
for more information about the cage. I will also need an updated
request list since I know most of you wanted babies from the failed
litters as well. If you have gender preferences, now would be a good
time to let me know. I also need to know when you would like to pick
up your mice. Of corse, mice will not be released into their new
homes until the age of 4 - 5 weeks old. Mice can be picked up
wednesday and sunday any time, during the weekday after 8:30 but not
past 11pm and on saturday after about 4. I have a busy work week.
Special arangments can be made, so do not hesitate to ask. Since I
work at a vet, you can pick them up there as well. Anyone having mice
shipped: I am looking into prices and trying to get the best prices.
Please email me with an airport closest to you so I can get acurate
prices. I am still looking into ground transport, but looks like it
is not going to happen unless we get a mouse cab going. It is a
thought! I need to know gender preferences and number of mice you
would like and from what litters. I found a nice airline approved
transport cage for $35. I can purchase dividers and seperate it into
four compartments. The dividers and water source will be an
attitional cost, but not much. I have found shipping costs between
$100 - $250 not including the crate. Any Ideas, let me know.

Jessica:: I need you to contact your embasay and look into any
restrictions on sending mice to you. The ground shipper has not
contracted me yet. I am going to contact them again tomarrow. There
may not be any special requirements needed, but I do know that YOU
will have to fill out some paperwork on your end. I am trying to make
this work for you. :) Just be patient with me.

Everyone, please get back to me as soon as possible. I need to start
pushing things along. Any questions, please ask me. And keep in mind
that pictures will all be posted by wednesday night. I will send an
email update when I post them all. Hope to hear from you soon!!!!

Hi Heather!!  Unfortunately I do not have any hairless at this time, but I am planning on picking some up as well. I will have a table at the fest. :) Check out my available mice on my site and I will place any on hold for you that you are interrested in. If you breed mice I may be willing to trade depending on what you have. this is the direct link to the mousery - www.kaworld.net/mousery/mousery.html    keep in mind that the babies all are turning out to be longhair except maybe the agouti satin. I also need to update the pictures, but am unsure if I will get to it before the fest.  I do not have many mice - just 16 available - due to the fact that I did not know the fest was comming up. I do have some beautiful mice available though, even though I do not have alot. Just let me know.

Ok, Just finished posting all the baby mouse pictures in the nursery
and I updated all the adoption/ sale pages in the mousery. Please check

but the babies are always the hardest.......figures. Anyway...... holds

I do have two mice you may be interrested in. I have one baby mouse that MAY be a chocolate self standard (satin??), but he may turn agouti. Time will tell. I also have a fawn that may be a true fawn, not argente. Again, time will tell once he opens his eyes. My other fawns are obviously going to be Argente.

I did take a look at your sale page and I am interrested in a few mice. Even if we do not trade, I would like to purchase. I still have to look at your whole page, but the list of mice I am interrested in so far  is:
Plenty Paws Mark of Thor (possibly)
Recessive Yellow Astrex Busk (page 1)
Black Satin Varigiegated Roan/ Merle Buck
Chinncillalted Aguti Buck Angora #4273
Himalayan Astrex Buck #3841
Recessive Yellow Angora Doe #4199
Brindle Bucks # 4200 and #4203

I also am interrested in some females, so let me know what you have as far as females go. I mainly seen males for sale. Again, I should have pictuers up tonight and I will let you know when they are posted. Have a great day - I need to get back to work. :)

I am sorry for the delay is responding as well. I will also have pictures posted up hopefully today. I've been pulling in some overtime at work - lucky me. I live in Bayonne, NJ. I have to see how far that is from Freesport. I may be able to meet you half way If I can get a ride and it's not too far. I will have to see. Let me know what you can do.

Hello,

I will get to more of this when I get home from class, but I just thought I would tell you, The show is not at Freesport ( there are two Freesport BTW) it is at LEESPORT , that is from 4 to 6 hour east of Freesport depending on what Freesport you were looking at. Leesport is six hours closer to you than the Freesport in Eire County and over four hours closer to you than the one in Armstrong County. Leesport is closer to Allentown not Pittsburgh.

Does that help you get a better idea about meeting us?

Best wishes
Brandy

Hello,

Sorry I have not been online, and time is short right now.

Ok, so you are not going to make it to rodentfest, how from from there are you? I am trying to work out if we could still get/trade mice.

I need Lethal red , Fawn ( "For real fawn" , not argente or red eyed recessive yellow) Cinnamon , Chocolate.

We do have Brindle, check out the sale pages on our site there are a couple of Brindle bucks that were sired by a nice show buck. We also do angora rather well, please see "Shadow Game " On the "New Homes" page of our web site. However all of our angora at this time are going to be some type of agouti. We have Astrex but I think the only astrex we have ready for the show in satin are only pet type stock, except for a broken black satin astrex ( on the sale page listed as "Plenty Paw's Mark Of Thor" . We do have rather a lot that carry satin though.

Have a look at our site and see if any thing on there interest you, then we will go from there. I am going to check out your site tomorrow. I hope to be able to work something out that will make us both happy.

Best Wishes

Ok, Two of 6 girls have had their babies. They were born on 4/9. I
will be getting pictures posted shortly. Two other girls are due any
day and I'm not sure the last two even took. Popsicle looks like she
may be pregnant, but Dita is showing no signs at all.

I did get an updated current mouse list posted on the page. There you
can see beautiful pictures of all my currently mice and read a bit
about them. I will be posting generation information up soon as well.
The adoption/ sale pages will be updated hopefully today or Wednesday.
Other sections of my page are being updated as well.

RODENT FEST: I will not be able to make it. Leesport PA is just too
far and everyone I would ask for a ride from is working or busy.
Wish it were closer. Plus the babies would not be old enough to go to
their new homes by May 1st. I have no adults for adoption.

NEW MICE AND TRADING: I did order three hairless mice, but I am
unsure if I will be getting them any time soon. I'll see. As far as
trading mice, I am very willing to do so. I am looking for new stock
as well as new colors and hair coats. Now keep in mind that I will
trade for other mice colors and patterns even if they are not on the
list below. Email me and we can work something out.

I am mainly looking for: Brindles, himalayian, Siamese, Lilac,
blue, and most other colors and the coat patterns I am looking for
are satins, longhairs, astrex, and rex. I am also looking for any
English mice. Also looking for splashed, even marked, hairless,
Dutch, and foxes.

I'll keep everyone posted!!

Christine :)
