This group was established for those in and around KY, as a forum to meet and discuss anything relating to natural dog husbandry.

Topics include:

• Raw feeding, including methods, myths, and supplier hunting
• Discussion of the implications of routine vaccinations and some of the more commonly prescribed drugs/chemicals
• Natural, alternative health-care.
• Training, positive training especially
• Cat discussions, focused on the same areas are also welcome

There are many large lists that cover one or more of these areas and many of us have a desire to find people in our own area who are like-minded. This is a forum for the open discussion of all aspects of natural dog rearing topics as they relate to us and where we have set our roots.

There seems to be a relative shortage of people in our home area who are actively interested naturally rearing and caring for their dogs. We are hoping there are more of us out there, and that we can find each other through this list. Let's help one another.

For example, we can:

• Share and compare our food sources, our methods of feeding and our health care experiences.
• Share experiences about our dealings with our pets' health care professionals as it relates to natural/holistic principles.
• We can also spread the word about how nature knows best when it comes to caring for dogs, so that there can be more naturally happy and healthy dogs in Kentucky. Lawmakers need to hear our voices as well!
• Get together and have fun with people who really care about their dogs.
