There are many exciting things going on with the club. Please also see

#1: Meeting this weekend, Sunday August 19 at 3PM -- at Spring Creek
BBQ in Mansfield. Detailed planning is underway for both the fun show
and the sanctioned show and we need your input.

#2: Fun Show Oct. 7: Dalworthington Gardens Park Pavilion (near
Arlington). This is a new location - the flyer has a map. A fun show is
for practice and fun only, and is open to all APBTs, Am Staffs, etc.
Prizes for Best Male, Best Female, Best Red Nose, Best Blue, Junior
Handler, and Ugly Dog. Bring your family and enjoy the fun!

#3: The flyer for the fun show is available in the FILES section of the
Yahoo Group, or download from the website (above). In the same
locations, you will also find the flyer for the huge sanctioned show
Thanksgiving weekend. We also took out a full page ad in the ADBA
Gazette.

Please print out and post the flyers at your local feed store, vet's
office, animal shelter... anywhere APBT owners may congregate.

Also, I apologize for the tardiness of the newsletter but we have been
moving our house and my shop since April. Things are starting to get
back to relative normalcy and I plan to start putting one together
soon. If anyone wants to contribute anything, or have a paid ad, please
let me know ASAP.
