There will be a club meeting this Sunday, Sept. 16 at the usual
location, Spring Creek BBQ in Mansfield.

In October, we will not have the regular meeting, instead we will
have a -- FUN SHOW Sunday, Oct. 7 2007 at 3PM at Dalworthington
Gardens Park Pavilion (near Arlington).

Why? Because when breed-specific legislation comes up (and it will -
in January 2009), you will need to write and call your local elected
officials. If you are not registered to vote and don't have a history
of voting, they are much less likely to listen to you. We need to
show that APBT owners' opinions count! The time to start is now. A
year from now will be too late. Your dogs will thank you!
