Maine Icelandic Horse Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing Icelandic horse riders together in the state of Maine. Our goal is to facilitate clinics with Icelandic horse trainers, plan group trail rides, educate newcomers, help with rescue, and participate in breed promotion.

While we strive to better understand the needs of the Icelandic horse we hope to create a community in Maine where we can enjoy this unique breed that has so much to offer while having this beautiful backdrop of our state.
