Welcome to Midwest Mischief Rat Lovers' Club! We're based in Minnesota, but this list serves as common ground for anyone interested in pet rats, which all deserve responsible, loving homes.

You may talk about any rat positive subject. We encourage members to post stories about their rats, advice about rat care, links to cool rat sites, info on new rat products, informative rat articles, and anything else that might interest a rat lover. We also encourage questions when help is needed although if you have an emergency, we recommend you contact a vet or email rathelp@yahoogroups.com. You’re welcome to post about rats who need new and loving homes. We do not discuss the feeding of rats to snakes and other reptiles.

For our Minneapolis/St. Paul area members, we have fun get togethers at the Golden Valley Humane Society every other month. All ages are welcome to come to these meetings, even if you don't own a rat. One person each meeting brings their rats for everyone to meet and play with. It's lots of fun!
