Welcome to this group for friends of the Mize Horse Auction in Mize, Mississippi.

This is a place to discuss upcoming horse auctions, the Meadows Futurity, and related subjects. There are auctions at the Mize horse sale arena on the THIRD SATURDAY of every month plus special catalog sales on the FIFTH SATURDAY [except December]. In August there is the ANNUAL FOAL PRODUCTION SALE offering over 100 APHA and AQHA registered foals from outstanding, money-earning stallions.

When you join, we recommend that you set your preferences to receive group messages to your regular email account. That way you will get news right away. This is especially important on days immediately before a sale when new horses are announced.

For the benefit of all the buyers and sellers who participate in these horse auctions, we have a few ground rules to help things run smoothly in the group. All messages sent to the group will be posted by a moderator after review and approval. Prospective buyers are welcome to send messages about what kind of horses they are interested in seeing at the auctions. Prospective sellers are welcome to send messages and photos describing horses they plan to bring to future auctions. Sellers who have some item for sale or a service that isn't normally the sort of thing that would be auctioned at the Mize Horse Auction, but which would be of general interest to the members, are welcome to post one brief message about it.

Conversations between group members should be conducted privately and will not be posted to the group. The purpose of the group is to discuss topics related to the Mize Horse Auction. Thanks to everyone for following general web etiquette rules.
