Hi,
I currently have eight Morgans but only two are ponies everyone else is
either over 14.2 or still growing and the cannon measures to 15. I
really prefer smaller horses as I am handicapped and mounting the tall
ones is just to hard on my hips. As luck would have it my personal
riding horse is slated to go 15 hh (Murphy lives at my house), oh well
somethings are just meant to be. I am currently looking for something
small (12 hh maybe) for my grandsons, as everything here is too big.
They really need to start one something a little closer to the ground to
be comfortable. We have a lovely old mare the would teach them well but
she is just over the pony limit and too tall for their comfort.
Hopefully I will have some dun babies within the next few years that
will be the right size for me. I won't give up my 15 hh darling but it
would be nice not to always have to mount tall.
