Greetings!

This forum is for members of Mount Baker Beekeepers Assocation and local bee enthusiasts to share and glean information regarding their bees, local phenomena, meetings and events, etc. We hope this listserve will encourage friendly and respectful communication with fellow beeks, as well as successful and responsible beekeeping in our area.

The Mount Baker Beekeepers Association (MBBA)is a group of hobbyist and sideliner beekeepers whose purpose is to promote the management of and interest in honeybees for honey production and pollination.

MBBA was founded in 1971 by concerned beekeepers from Whatcom and Skagit Counties, in collaboration with the County Cooperative Extension Service and the late Roy Thurber, former State Bee inspector in our area, bee gadgeteer, and prolific author of articles for the bee magazines.

Regular club meetings are held the Second Wednesday of each month, (except for July), 7 PM at The North Bellingham Grange, Northwest Avenue just south of Smith Rd. West side of the street.
