Lake Lagunita is closed to dogs when there IS water, so it's a no-go
for lake-loving dogs. Also, a Jack Rabbit lives there - if you've
got a "chaser" better keep him/her on leash.

If you can stand the drive, Ft Funston is by far the *best* for
seeing other poochies, water, and hiking. It's about 45 min. from
mountain view - I recommend taking 280 and staying off 101 even on
the weekends.
