Hi I'm Salena,

I live in Granville,Oh. I have never bred any animal before so I want to be sure
I know what I'm doing. My goats are pets first then livestock, but I would like
to have milk from them, that should keep my husband happy;)
I have 3 does and a wether. 2 of my girls are 5yrs. and have never been bred. Do
you think this could be a problem? When do you folks breed for spring
kidding.Ohio weather is so fickled I worry about cold a spring. My doeling is 4
mo. now, will she be old enough to breed for spring kidding? Or should I wait
another year with her?
I look forward to learning more from all of you. (by the way I did read the
