Founded in 2001 by the members of Scottish Big Cats, the definitive freeliving exotic cat group continues to thrive.
Non-native cats is a discussion list run by scientists and enthusiasts, but is open to everybody. We hope to be a friendly and helpful forum where everybody is encouraged to participate and exchange information on the alleged sightings of big cats in the UK and beyond their native ranges. The members of this group come from a variety of different backgrounds and have explored the many different hypotheses about the origins and nature of the cats.
Information exchange is the name of the game. If you are a serious big cat researcher or if you simply wish to learn more about these mysterious animals we'd be happy to have you with us.
